Every price on the website is a quote, not a fixed charge. It assumes a standard single-storey home with the switchboard within reach. When your request comes through, Luke looks it over and sends you a quote to confirm. Once the job is done, that quote becomes your invoice.

What changes the price
- More than one: each extra downlight replaced on the same visit is $44, one call-out
- New downlights where there were none: $258.50 for the first, $93.50 each after it, holes cut and wired
- Your own fitting: send us the link first so we can check it suits the wiring
- An old dimmer that doesn't suit LED: a trailing-edge dimmer fixes the flicker, $121 fitted with the lights
- Pendants and wall lights you've bought: $55 each with the rest of the job
- Flickering, or globes blowing every week: that's a fault call-out, and nearly always a quick fix

How it works
Three steps, no phone tag.Name, mobile, address, a photo if you have one. Luke texts you back, usually the same working day.
He looks over what you've sent, confirms the price and you pick the day. Nothing changes after that unless we tell you first.
One of the three of us, in one of the three vans. Fitted, tested, certificate of compliance lodged, the old one removed.

Answered the way Luke answers them.Can I have warm white rather than harsh blue-white?
Yes. Most LED downlights we fit switch between warm, neutral and cool white, so we set the colour you want on the day. Warm white (3000 K) is the usual choice for living areas and bedrooms.
Can it be dimmable, and can you match the dimmer switches I already have?
Yes. Tell us when you book and we fit dimmable lights and a matching dimmer. If you already have a particular switch range in the house, send a photo and we match it.
What brand are you putting in?
We fit a few trusted brands and pick the one that suits the job. The quote lists the fitting, wattage and colour before you accept it.
Can you supply the fittings or do I buy them?
Either. We supply standard downlights, battens, ovals and sensor lights. If you’ve seen a fitting you like, buy it and we fit it. Send us the link first so we can check it’s suitable.
Do you do sensor and flood lights, including triple-head?
Yes, twin and triple head sensor floods, on an existing switch or a new one. Send a photo of where you want it and we quote.
My globe keeps blowing every week. Is it the fitting?
Usually a loose or heat-damaged fitting, not the globe. It’s a fault call-out and nearly always a quick fix.
Lights flicker or cut out. Can you look at it?
Yes. Flickering is usually a failing driver or a loose connection. It’s a fault call-out, which covers the first 30 minutes.
