Rangehood installation Adelaide, $246 with the old one removed
Fixed, undermount, slide-out or canopy. Hung, wired, ducted to the existing outlet and tested, old one removed. Price depends on the type, not the brand.
Every price on the website is a quote, not a fixed charge. It assumes a standard single-storey home with the switchboard within reach. When your request comes through, Luke looks it over and sends you a quote to confirm. Once the job is done, that quote becomes your invoice.
Pick yours. Prices include GST.
Add it and it opens in the quote builder, where your quote builds as you go.Every visit has one $165 call-out, covering the trip and the first 30 minutes. It's already inside the first price you see. Anything else on the same visit shares the call-out, so extra jobs are usually cheaper. Appliances and fans are a flat price each.

What's in the price
- Take down and remove the old rangehood
- Hang and fix the new one to the cabinet or wall
- Connect to the existing ducting and power
- Test the fan and the light
- Old rangehood taken down and taken with us, packaging too
- Licensed electrician on every job
What changes the price
- No powerpoint behind the rangehood: we add one for $165
- No ducting to outside: recirculating is fine for most. Vent to outside through the eave $242
- A canopy where there was a slide-out: cabinet changes are not ours, we'll say so before the day
- Rangehood and cooktop on the same visit: each at its flat listed price

How it works
Three steps, no phone tag.Name, mobile, address, a photo if you have one. Luke texts you back, usually the same working day.
He looks over what you've sent, confirms the price and you pick the day. Nothing changes after that unless we tell you first.
One of the three of us, in one of the three vans. Fitted, tested, certificate of compliance lodged, the old one removed.
Questions people text us
Answered the way Luke answers them. Will the new rangehood fit? My ceiling is higher than normal.
Usually yes. We need the width of the old hood, the height from the cooktop to the ceiling and the model number of the new one. Standard canopies suit 600 to 750 mm above the cooktop. On tall ceilings the hood may need an extension chimney, which comes from the retailer, not us.
What ducting do you use, and will it look tidy?
We tell you before the day what the duct will look like, and any ducting beyond a like-for-like swap is quoted up front, not on the day. If you have a preference about what’s visible, tell us when you book so we bring the right parts.
My rangehood has stopped extracting or vibrates on high. Can you fix it?
We don’t repair rangehood motors or controls. If it’s a wiring or switch fault we can fix that. If the motor or fan has failed, replacing the hood is almost always cheaper than repairing it.
Do you remove the old rangehood?
Yes. We take the old hood down and take it with us, along with the packaging from the new one.
How much to replace a rangehood I buy myself?
Build your quote on this site. It covers fixed, slide-out and canopy hoods, with or without removing the old one. Send photos of the old hood and the new model number and we confirm before you book.
