Every price on the website is a quote, not a fixed charge. It assumes a standard single-storey home with the switchboard within reach. When your request comes through, Luke looks it over and sends you a quote to confirm. Once the job is done, that quote becomes your invoice.

Every visit has one $165 call-out, covering the trip and the first 30 minutes. It's already inside the first price you see. Anything else on the same visit shares the call-out, so extra jobs are usually cheaper. Appliances and fans are a flat price each.

What's in the price

  • Disconnect and remove the old oven and cooktop
  • Fit, wire and test both new appliances
  • Check both circuits, the isolator and the safety switches
  • Certificate of compliance lodged
  • Both old appliances disconnected, removed and taken with us, packaging too
  • Licensed electrician on every job

What changes the price

  • A 90cm or double oven in the pair: $470
  • Oven and cooktop sharing one circuit: two new feeds run on the one visit, $1,845
  • No isolator at the bench: $165
  • No safety switch on that circuit? It's often needed. We check from your photo, and it's $165 if so

How it works

Three steps, no phone tag.
Step 1Book in 30 seconds

Name, mobile, address, a photo if you have one. Luke texts you back, usually the same working day.

Step 2Luke sends the quote to confirm

He looks over what you've sent, confirms the price and you pick the day. Nothing changes after that unless we tell you first.

Step 3We turn up and do the job

One of the three of us, in one of the three vans. Fitted, tested, certificate of compliance lodged, the old one removed.

Questions people text us

Answered the way Luke answers them.
Can you collect the oven from the store for me?

Yes. If the oven is paid for and waiting at the store, we pick it up on the way and bring it with us. Tell us the store and the order number when you book. Otherwise have it delivered to you first and book us for once it’s there.

Do you remove the old oven?

Yes. We disconnect the old oven, take it out of the cabinet and take it with us, along with the packaging from the new one. Nothing is left for you to get rid of.

My oven hasn’t arrived yet, can we move the install?

Yes, just let us know. We’d rather move the booking than turn up to an empty bench. Text us when the delivery is confirmed and we’ll find the next spot. No charge to move it.

Will you need a second person for the lift, stairs or an apartment?

One of us handles a standard under-bench or wall oven on our own, including most stairs and lifts. If it’s a 90 cm or double oven on an upper floor with no lift, tell us when you book so we send two.

The new oven is a different size to the cut-out. Is that a problem?

Usually not. A few millimetres either way we pack out or trim on the day. If the new oven is a different size class to the old one, say a 60 cm replacing a 90 cm, or a taller unit, send us a photo of the opening and the model number before the day and we’ll tell you what’s involved. Cabinet work is done by a cabinet maker, not us, and we can time our visit around them.

My new oven needs a bigger circuit. Do you handle that?

Yes. Most ovens run on the existing circuit. Some larger and pyrolytic ovens need their own circuit. We check your switchboard from your photo before booking. If anything’s different on the day, we tell you before we start.

Can you install an oven I bought elsewhere, or second hand?

Yes. We install ovens from any retailer, online or second hand, and the price is the same wherever it came from, old one removed. Build your quote on this site for the number, and tick collection if you want us to pick it up from the store.

The oven is tripping the breaker, or something failed after the install. What now?

Text us and we sort it out. If the fault is in the appliance itself, a door, element or control, the store or manufacturer handles the claim, and we’ll put what we found in writing if they ask for it.

Will my new induction cooktop fit the existing cut-out?

Most 60 cm induction cooktops fit a standard 60 cm cut-out and most 90 cm fit a 90 cm one, but every model has its own cut-out size. Send us the model number and the width and depth of the current hole and we’ll confirm before the day. If the stone needs trimming, a stonemason can be organised and is quoted separately, and we time the install around them.

Does my switchboard or wiring need upgrading for induction?

Sometimes. An induction cooktop usually draws more than the old one, so it may need its own circuit, and the board may need a safety switch or an isolation switch. We check your switchboard from your photo before booking. If anything’s different on the day, we tell you before we start. Build your quote and it shows you the options.

Can you install a cooktop I’ve bought myself?

Yes. Build your quote on this site and pick cooktop, or oven and cooktop together if we’re doing both on the same visit.

The cooktop pulses or cuts in and out when several zones are on. Is that a fault?

No. Induction cooktops share power across zones, so running three or four at once can make the zones pulse. That’s the cooktop managing its load, not a wiring problem.

My benchtop isn’t in yet. Can you come back?

Yes. If the cooktop can’t go in yet we run the cable and come back to connect it once the bench is in. Tell us when you book so we plan two visits.

Do I need a safety switch or an isolation switch?

Not every home does, and we only add them if the rules require it. We check your switchboard from your photo before booking. If anything’s different on the day, we tell you before we start. Both are listed in the quote builder so you can see them up front.
