Induction cooktop installation Adelaide, $288 on your existing circuit
Swapping ceramic for induction on the circuit you already have, old one removed. Swapping gas for induction needs a new 32A circuit and the gas capped, and that's $1,872 all in, one visit.
Every price on the website is a quote, not a fixed charge. It assumes a standard single-storey home with the switchboard within reach. When your request comes through, Luke looks it over and sends you a quote to confirm. Once the job is done, that quote becomes your invoice.
Pick yours. Prices include GST.
Add it and it opens in the quote builder, where your quote builds as you go.Every visit has one $165 call-out, covering the trip and the first 30 minutes. It's already inside the first price you see. Anything else on the same visit shares the call-out, so extra jobs are usually cheaper. Appliances and fans are a flat price each.

What's in the price
- Disconnect and remove the old cooktop
- Fit, wire and test the induction cooktop
- Check the circuit can carry it (most induction wants 32A)
- Isolator and safety switch checked
- Certificate of compliance lodged
- Old cooktop disconnected, removed and taken with us, packaging too
What changes the price
- Existing circuit too small for induction: new 32A circuit, switches included, $1,320
- Coming from gas: gas capped by our licensed plumbing partner, circuit, cooktop in, $1,872 all in
- No isolator at the bench: $165
- No safety switch on that circuit? It's often needed. We check from your photo, and it's $165 if so
- Cut-out needs widening: a stonemason can be organised, quoted separately

How it works
Three steps, no phone tag.Name, mobile, address, a photo if you have one. Luke texts you back, usually the same working day.
He looks over what you've sent, confirms the price and you pick the day. Nothing changes after that unless we tell you first.
One of the three of us, in one of the three vans. Fitted, tested, certificate of compliance lodged, the old one removed.
Questions people text us
Answered the way Luke answers them. Will my new induction cooktop fit the existing cut-out?
Most 60 cm induction cooktops fit a standard 60 cm cut-out and most 90 cm fit a 90 cm one, but every model has its own cut-out size. Send us the model number and the width and depth of the current hole and we’ll confirm before the day. If the stone needs trimming, a stonemason can be organised and is quoted separately, and we time the install around them.
Does my switchboard or wiring need upgrading for induction?
Sometimes. An induction cooktop usually draws more than the old one, so it may need its own circuit, and the board may need a safety switch or an isolation switch. We check your switchboard from your photo before booking. If anything’s different on the day, we tell you before we start. Build your quote and it shows you the options.
Can you install a cooktop I’ve bought myself?
Yes. Build your quote on this site and pick cooktop, or oven and cooktop together if we’re doing both on the same visit.
The cooktop pulses or cuts in and out when several zones are on. Is that a fault?
No. Induction cooktops share power across zones, so running three or four at once can make the zones pulse. That’s the cooktop managing its load, not a wiring problem.
My benchtop isn’t in yet. Can you come back?
Yes. If the cooktop can’t go in yet we run the cable and come back to connect it once the bench is in. Tell us when you book so we plan two visits.
Do I need a safety switch or an isolation switch?
Not every home does, and we only add them if the rules require it. We check your switchboard from your photo before booking. If anything’s different on the day, we tell you before we start. Both are listed in the quote builder so you can see them up front.
